COVID-19 Restriction Changes
Effective May 23, 2021, the State of Connecticut along with the Diocese of Norwich has relaxed COVID restrictions in Parishes across the Diocese.
The General Dispensation that The Most Rev. Michael R. Cote, Bishop of Norwich had is place for Sunday and Holy Days of Obligations will expire on the Solemnity of Pentecost. This means Sunday Mass and Holy Days are OBLIGATORY again.
Those who are home-bound, who care for COVID patients, and those suffering from severe pre-existing conditions and that are more susceptible to get the COVID are still dispensed.
Mask are STILL REQUIRED only if you are NOT VACCINATED, however, social distancing is NO LONGER REQUIRED and the ropes will be removed from Church pews. However, for more vulnerable people, some pews will be reserved in the middle of the church with ropes.
Holy Water will also be available again at all entrances of our Church.
Congregational singing is now permitted
Full Guidelines from Bishop Cote can be found here
